We at Muse just can’t take 4 more years of polital ignorance of the critical environmental issues at hand. Nevada is one of the major battleground states and every vote is going to count there. As a result, the members of the Obama campaign’s “Drive for Change” program are asking residents of Northern and Southern California to visit Nevada on specific weekends prior to the election to help with voter registration, get-out-the-vote efforts, voter contact, etc.

They are requesting that Northern Californians meet up in Reno, Carson City and the surrounding areas. Southern Californians are being asked to meet up in Las Vegas. While help is always needed, and they’d be glad to have you any time, here are the specific weekends they’ve set aside for Drive for Change:

• Sept 12th – 14th
• Sept 19th – 21st (Northern California only)
• Sept 26th – 28th (Southern California only)
• October 3rd – 5th (Northern California Only)
• October 10th – 12th (Southern California only)
• Oct 17th – Oct 19th
• Nov 1st – 4th
